Which Wels shop should I trust?
drugstores.at is the one Verdex has profiled, and its profile counts it among two MVG-licensed hemp shops in Upper Austria. The state tourism site also lists Cannabis Store Wels on Ringstraße 12; I could not tell from that listing whether it holds a licence, so match it to the MVG list of 18 June 2026 before buying. Can I get stronger product?
No. Anything above 0.3 percent THC falls under the Suchtmittelgesetz, and section 27 punishes possession. A tobacconist may sell legal flower as well, since the monopoly now names it. The same law raised the tobacconist's margin from 30 to 32 percent of the recommended retail price, according to Chamber of Commerce coverage. For the wider rules see the Austria page.
