FivePoint Cannabis Bridgeland

FivePoint Cannabis in Bridgeland, at 945 General Avenue NE, calls itself a cannabis shop inside a fine-art gallery. The walls and cases hold rotating work by Calgary artists and glassblowers, and much of the pipe and bong selection is handmade locally. The store is woman-owned, licensed by AGLC, and has a second location on 1 Street SW in the Beltline.

What it stocks. The menu leans toward Alberta and Canadian craft producers and rotates often; the shop advertises a fresh-flower guarantee. Beyond flower and pre-rolls you'll find vapes, concentrates, edibles, drinks, oils and gel caps, topicals and seeds. Online ordering is set up for pickup. The owners say their roots go back more than 20 years in cannabis activism, which shows in how the store talks about community.

Directory listings give 10 AM to 10 PM daily; the store's own site does not publish hours, so confirm before late visits. Weedmaps mentions ample parking, which is unusual this close to downtown.

What reviewers say. All 12 Weedmaps reviews are five stars. They focus on the look of the space and on budtenders who explain terpenes and strain differences at length; several name individual staff. None of the reviews we read raised a complaint, and the platform shows no dates, so we can't judge recency.

• Good fit: buyers who want local craft flower or a one-off glass piece rather than the cheapest gram.
• Check first: hours, since the official site doesn't list them.
