About Select Cannabis
Select Cannabis Co. on 118 Avenue NW: Alberta Avenue store with one of Edmonton's biggest review records, 4.9 from 377 Google reviews.
Select Cannabis Co. has this store at 8924 118 Avenue NW, on the Alberta Avenue strip in north-central Edmonton. It holds AGLC licence 785145 and is one of four Select shops, a small local group run by two owners; the others are on 149 Street, 97 Street and 82 Street.
Shopping here. This location handles in-store shopping and pickup. Delivery for the area is dispatched from the group's hub stores rather than from here, with free delivery on orders over $75 and orders taken until 9 PM. The Select website lists 9 AM to 10 PM Sunday to Thursday and 9 AM to 11 PM on Friday and Saturday (checked September 2026). Google, via Birdeye, shows a 10 AM opening, so check before an early visit.
What reviewers say. With 377 Google reviews averaging 4.9, this is one of the most-reviewed independent stores in Edmonton. The newest reviews we could read, from around April and May 2026, are all five stars and short. Two of them praise the same budtender for knowing the products well, others mention good quality at competitive prices, and one simply says the reviewer loves the store and its staff. We only saw five reviews individually, so we can't say much about the older record or how complaints are handled.
- Good fit: Alberta Avenue, Parkdale and Eastwood residents who prefer to shop in person.
- Check first: the opening time, since the website and Google disagree.
Adults 18+; ID required.
