About Cannabis Club Südwest e.V.
One of the first two licensed cannabis clubs in Baden-Württemberg, in Achern (Ortenau); members only, distributing since March 2025.
Cannabis Club Südwest e.V. in Achern is a members-only cultivation association, one of the first two in Baden-Württemberg to receive a permit. Regierungspräsidium Freiburg approved it on 19 November 2024 together with a club in Mannheim, and the club says it has been distributing cannabis to members since March 2025. It is not a shop: nobody can walk in and buy, and nothing is sold to non-members.
The association was registered in 2023 (Amtsgericht Mannheim, VR 704186, per CSC Maps) and has its premises at Fautenbacher Straße 12 in Achern. It draws members from the Ortenau district and from Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden, Offenburg and Freiburg, and says it is accepting new members. CSC Maps lists between 101 and 200 members, an annual fee of €180 and a one-time joining fee of €35.
The club grows indoors in soil, following a living-soil approach without chemical pesticides, according to its listing and website. It names a prevention officer who briefs members on self-testing and youth protection, which the Consumer Cannabis Act requires every club to have.
