Little Green Pharma cannot tell you how to get its products: its contact form says the company cannot advise on accessing prescription medicines. That is the rule for an Australian producer, whose brand is not allowed to be advertised to the public. The Perth-headquartered, ASX-listed company was founded in 2016 and says it launched Australia's first locally grown cannabis medicine in 2018.
It grows in an indoor, controlled-environment facility in Western Australia and bought a cultivation and manufacturing site in Odense, Denmark, in 2021. Patients can obtain its products only on prescription under TGA pathways, dispensed by a pharmacy.

The TGA's guidance of June 18, 2026 covers brands, strains, formats and prices, so producer sites give clinicians technical information rather than shopping menus. Just two cannabis medicines carry TGA registration, Epidyolex and Sativex; everything else, dried flower included, is unapproved.
| Item | Fact |
|---|---|
| Licences | Office of Drug Control cultivation and production licences; TGA manufacturing licence, as reported |
| Regulation | Narcotic Drugs Regulation 2016 sunsets on April 1, 2027 unless remade |
| Market mix | THC-dominant products (Category 5) made up about half of disclosed SAS-B applications in 2025 and 2026 |
| Most common form | Dried herb |
Reports describe its Western Australian site as about 1.3 tonnes a year of GACP cultivation. Ask your prescriber to name the product and its strength, then check the dispensing pharmacy; the producer will not do it for you. Verdex found no consumer review scores for the company. Questions about this list
Can I buy Little Green Pharma products online?
No. Its products must be prescribed by an Australian doctor or nurse practitioner under TGA pathways and dispensed by a pharmacy, according to its Verdex profile. The company does not sell to the public.
Are Australian medicinal cannabis products approved by the TGA?
Almost all are unapproved. Epidyolex and Sativex are the only registered ones, and the TGA has not assessed the efficacy of other products, though they must meet quality standards.
Who licenses Australian cannabis cultivation?
The Office of Drug Control licenses cultivation and production under the Narcotic Drugs Regulation 2016. That regulation is set to sunset on April 1, 2027 unless it is remade.

Illegal in all states and the Northern Territory; penalties and diversion schemes vary by state. The ACT allows adults limited personal possession (see below).

Home grow
Illegal everywhere except the limited ACT allowance; a prescription does not permit cultivation. Commercial cultivation requires Office of Drug Control licences.
