Little Green Pharma

Little Green Pharma (ASX: LGP) is a Western Australian producer of medicinal cannabis, headquartered in Wembley, Perth, that supplies products patients can obtain only on prescription through pharmacies. The company says it was founded in 2016 and in 2018 launched what it calls Australia's first locally grown cannabis medicine.

Its Australian site is an indoor, controlled-environment cultivation facility in Western Australia that also supports plant-genetics work and the development of its flower range. Reports seen in search results describe the site as about 1.3 tonnes a year of GACP cultivation with GMP-compliant production, and say the TGA granted it a GMP manufacturing licence, alongside Office of Drug Control licences to cultivate and produce. In 2021 LGP bought a cultivation and manufacturing facility in Odense, Denmark, which it says has 21,500 m² of growing area and 4,000 m² of post-harvest space; it also lists an office in Berlin. Small Caps reported a proposed A$7.8 million sale-and-leaseback of the WA production site.

For patients, the practical point is access: LGP products must be prescribed by an Australian doctor under TGA pathways and dispensed by a pharmacy, and the company's contact form says it cannot advise on accessing prescription medicines. We did not find consumer review scores for LGP as a company. The ODC list of consenting licence holders timed out when we tried to open it, so licence numbers are not shown.
