About Releaf
Clinic-and-dispensary chain founded in 2017, with sites in Fortitude Valley and Caloundra (QLD), St Kilda and Bentleigh (VIC) and Byron Bay (NSW).
Releaf is an Australian network of integrative medical clinics with dispensaries on site, where doctors can prescribe medicinal cannabis and patients can collect medicines in the same building. Its site says the company was established in 2017 and was inspired by the founders' mother, whose cancer care led them to natural therapies. In September 2026 it listed five locations: Fortitude Valley in Brisbane and Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, St Kilda and Bentleigh in Melbourne, and Byron Bay in New South Wales. Every site offers both in-clinic and telehealth appointments.
New patients book a free call with the team, provide a health summary from their GP (a paediatrician's referral is needed for under-18s) and pre-pay through HotDoc, with refunds for cancellations more than 48 hours ahead. Releaf says there are no lock-in contracts, that prescriptions can be filled at any pharmacy, and that its own dispensaries sell at recommended retail price and help with devices, dosing changes and accessory cleaning.
- Fortitude Valley dispensary: 388A Brunswick Street, weekdays 9am to 5pm.
- Caloundra: weekdays 9am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 2pm.
- St Kilda: weekdays 9am to 6pm; Bentleigh and Byron Bay: weekdays 9am to 5pm.
A February 2025 AAP release on Vitura Health's Candor deal said Vitura held a 50% interest in clinics formerly owned by Releaf Group. Google reviews for the Fortitude Valley site, shown on Birdeye, average 3.5 from 111; the recent ones we could read complained about consultation costs, service and difficulty getting a prescription.
