Mankind Dispensary has operated on Miramar Road in San Diego since 2016. Its layout is unusual: instead of keeping everything behind a counter, the store uses open shelves so shoppers can see, touch and smell products before buying, with staff on hand for questions. Its website says the shop is now run in partnership with The Cake House dispensaries.

The store at 7128 Miramar Rd. (Suite 10, on the second floor according to Leafly) is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the year. Curbside pickup runs 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (last same-day call 8:45 p.m.), and delivery runs 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a $40–$50 minimum depending on zone and a 7:45 p.m. cut-off for same-day orders. Delivery reaches Kearny Mesa, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Clairemont, University City, Poway, Carmel Valley, Del Mar and north to Encinitas, Escondido and Oceanside.
