About JARS Cannabis
Michigan-founded dispensary chain (2020) with stores in Detroit, the Ann Arbor area and Grand Rapids, online ordering and home delivery.
JARS Cannabis is a dispensary chain that says it started in 2020 with a single shop in East Detroit and has since grown to 54 locations across Michigan, Arizona and Colorado. For shoppers looking for a dispensary in Detroit, the original East Detroit store at 11400 E. 8 Mile Rd. is the brand's flagship; a second Detroit store sits on W. 8 Mile Rd., and the chain also runs a store on Packard St. near Ann Arbor and two in Grand Rapids (Alpine Ave. and 40th St.).
Each of these addresses appears as an active Marihuana Retailer license in the Cannabis Regulatory Agency's public lookup, and several carry the agency's home-delivery approval. On its site JARS says delivery goes to residential addresses only (no hotels, dorms or businesses), requires an order of at least $50 before tax and a valid ID matching the name on the order at the door; first-time customers need a Michigan ID to order delivery, while out-of-state visitors must buy in store first.
The menu covers the usual categories: flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, topicals, CBD and accessories. JARS also advertises a loyalty program and staff training it calls JARS University. On Leafly the East Detroit store has close to 2,000 reviews, which makes it one of the most-reviewed dispensaries in the state; Grand Rapids reviews are more mixed on delivery reliability.
