JACANA

JACANA is a Jamaican cannabis brand that sells through its own dispensaries. Three of them are the only stores shown in the Cannabis Licensing Authority's online store finder in September 2026: Manor Park and New Kingston in Kingston, and Island Village in Ocho Rios.

According to the store pages the CLA publishes, Manor Park, in Upper Manor Park Plaza on Constant Spring Road, was JACANA's first retail location and opened in 2019. New Kingston, in the renovated New Kingston Business Centre on Grenada Crescent, is described as its largest store and has a café next door. Ocho Rios, in the Island Village complex on Turtle River Road, is its first north-coast store and says it serves both residents and tourists.

The listed range covers flower, rolled flower, 510 cartridges and vape pens, and CBD oils, balms and massage oils. The store pages also mention mushroom products, which fall outside the ganja licensing system and outside what Verdex rates.

• Buyers need the documents any Jamaican herb house asks for: a doctor's recommendation, a foreign medical card or the visitor permit, and ID showing they are 18 or older.
• JACANA's own site also lists a Portmore store; it was not in the CLA store finder when we checked.
