Dark Matter is a multi-state brand: its site lists other New Mexico stores in Sunland Park and Hobbs, plus shops in Eugene, Oregon and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At Juan Tabo it sells flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, topicals and accessories, takes online orders for pickup and runs a points programme called Chron Club. The store page lists 8 AM to 10 PM daily (checked September 2026), though Birdeye shows a 9 AM start.
What reviewers say. This is one of the most-reviewed storefronts in Albuquerque: Google ratings on Birdeye show 4.8 across more than 1,100 reviews, and Leafly shows 4.7 from 29. Recent Google posts are short and upbeat about prices, selection and helpful staff. Leafly adds the counterweight: in 2024 a medical patient found advertised items out of stock and felt pushed toward pricier ones, another reviewer said staff overstated products, and a third found the flower weak.
- Who it suits: east-side shoppers who want long daily hours and a loyalty scheme.
- Tip: check stock online before going for an advertised item.
Bring ID showing you are 21 or older; patients should bring a New Mexico medical card.
