Medio

Medio is a telehealth clinic run by Medio Telehealth Pty Ltd from Surry Hills in Sydney that offers medicinal cannabis consultations to patients across Australia. Patients complete an eligibility check, book a same-day or after-hours slot, and fill in a health questionnaire before an AHPRA-registered doctor calls them. Medio explains that the prescribing pathway, either the TGA Special Access Scheme or a doctor with Authorised Prescriber status, is the same online as in a clinic, and that a consultation never guarantees a prescription.

Medio positions itself as independent. Its site says it does not run a dispensary, take commissions from product brands, add medication mark-ups or lock patients into subscriptions. If treatment is appropriate, the doctor sends an eScript to the patient's phone to fill at any Australian pharmacy or at a partner pharmacy. No referral is needed.

Medio's site quotes its own average patient rating, which we did not count. On Trustpilot, where its profile was unclaimed, it had only four reviews in September 2026, all one or two stars, with an average of 2.7. They describe a doctor ending a call early, a double charge with cancelled appointments, and complaints handled poorly. Four reviews is too few to judge a service, but people comparing online clinics may want to read them.
