About Farmacia Santa Cruz
IRCCA-listed pharmacy in Tacuarembó, Tacuarembó, selling state-regulated cannabis in 5 g packets to registered Uruguayan residents aged 18+.
Farmacia Santa Cruz at 25 de Mayo 457 in the city of Tacuarembó is one of the newer additions to IRCCA's network of cannabis-dispensing pharmacies. In its report on early 2026, IRCCA noted that new pharmacies in Rivera and Tacuarembó had ended a long gap in legal pharmacy access across the north of the country, where coverage had been thin.
Only adults aged 18 or over who hold a valid Uruguayan cédula as natural or legal citizens or permanent residents can buy. Registration is done once at an authorized Correo Uruguayo post office with the cédula and proof of address (a UTE, OSE or ANTEL landline bill, or a police certificate), and the buyer is verified by fingerprint at the counter. IRCCA's system caps purchases at 10 g in any 7 days, 40 g in 30 days and 480 g a year. Tourists and people with residency still in process cannot register, and cannabis bought legally may not be taken out of the country.

- Prices from February 1, 2026: Alfa $U 485, Beta $U 505, Gamma $U 565, Épsilon $U 615.
- Épsilon (sativa-leaning, up to 20% THC) is the best seller, according to IRCCA.
Uruguayan law bans any advertising or promotion of psychoactive cannabis, so pharmacies generally do not publicize stock or opening hours for it; we found no published hours for this shop and no readable review profile. Availability of a given variety can vary, so registered buyers may want to call ahead.
