Farmacia Popular is listed by IRCCA as an adhered pharmacy at Daniel Fernández Crespo 1991 in La Comercial, a central Montevideo neighborhood near the Tres Cruces and Goes areas. Adhered pharmacies are ordinary community pharmacies that have joined IRCCA's dispensing network, installed its point-of-sale and fingerprint system, and agreed to sell only the state-approved product.

To buy here you must first join the registry of pharmacy buyers at a Correo Uruguayo branch, showing a current Uruguayan cédula (citizens or permanent residents, 18+) and a utility bill or police certificate of address. You can buy as soon as you are registered; identity is checked by fingerprint, and IRCCA software blocks sales above 10 g a week, 40 g a month or 480 g a year. Choosing the pharmacy route rules out home growing or club membership at the same time. Visitors cannot register.
