BLOw is a newer coffeeshop on the Elektronweg in Utrecht's Lage Weide business district. One reviewer notes it is the only shop on that side of the canal close to Leidsche Rijn. The shop says it chose to be accessible and transparent, without fuss, and to fit into the neighbourhood without causing nuisance.
Its hours are unusual. According to the website, it opens 10:00 to 16:00 and again 18:00 to midnight from Monday to Friday, and continuously from 10:00 to midnight at weekends. Payment by PIN or cash is accepted. It also sells branded clothing and smoking accessories. Sales follow the tolerance policy: 18+ with ID, maximum 5 grams. Utrecht is not part of the controlled-supply experiment.
