The Health Ministry's list of authorized cannabis pharmacies held 423 entries on August 27, 2026, with Jerusalem (33), Tel Aviv (29) and Haifa (24) the most-listed cities, according to the data.gov.il dataset. A pharmacy missing from it cannot legally dispense, whatever its website or Telegram channel says.

Verdex lists nine, all verified: Givol with four sites (two in Tel Aviv, one each in Jerusalem and Be'er Sheva), Leon Pharm in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and SLE Pharmacy, a Teva group pharmacy near Shoham that delivers free nationwide. Customers need an Israeli prescription or licence, which is valid at any authorized pharmacy; foreign prescriptions are not recognized.

Prescription or licence: who issues what

Since April 1, 2024, ten listed conditions go through the health funds, and pain and PTSD stay with the Ministry's Yakar unit.

Price is set per product. A 2025 journal review put flower at 15 to 39 NIS a gram, or 450 to 1,170 NIS for a 30 g monthly allowance, against a flat 370 NIS before 2019, and 94% of dispensing in March 2025 was flower. That mix may change: a Health Ministry committee recommended in May 2026 phasing out smoked cannabis within three years and moving dispensing to the health funds. Verdex found no sign of adoption by late September 2026.

Delivery is the exception on the official list: only seven of the 423 entries carry a delivery flag. Verdex records home delivery at Club Pharm Sheli in Binyamina, Drugstore Net in Petah Tikva, Luminera Pharm in Lod and Telepharma Ad HaBayit in Rishon LeZion. Read how each route works in our prescription or licence guide and what visitors can do in the tourist guide.
