PharmaCielo grows and processes medical cannabis in Rionegro, in Colombia's Antioquia department, through PharmaCielo Colombia Holdings S.A.S. The parent company, PharmaCielo Ltd., is headquartered in Canada and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. It is a wholesale supplier: it sells dried flower and extracts to manufacturers and distributors, not to the public.
The company says it received its Colombian manufacturing licence in 2016 and is licensed to produce both CBD-dominant and THC-dominant extracts. Its site describes 12 hectares of open-air greenhouses, four harvests a year, GACP and ISO 9001 certification, and processing built to EU-GMP standards with certification described as underway. It also runs a tissue-culture lab and reports a library of more than 400 genetic varieties, including 30 registered cultivars and Colombian landrace lines. In 2020 the Colombian government designated the project a Project of National Strategic Interest, according to the company.
Financially the business is small but active. In results released on 28 August 2026, PharmaCielo reported quarterly revenue of about $1.4 million for the three months to 30 June 2026, up from $0.3 million a year earlier, driven by new flower sales to Europe. The company says it is prioritizing recurring export orders to Latin America, Australia, South Africa and Europe, and it continues to pay debenture interest partly in shares.
For patients, PharmaCielo matters as an upstream source: finished products reach people only through licensed manufacturers, importers and pharmacies.
