About Candor Medical

Candor Medical is an Australian online telehealth service that offers, among several services, an alternative therapy consultation in which a doctor considers whether prescription options such as medicinal cannabis may suit a patient. Candor says it was founded by a doctor and a developer in 2022. ASX-listed Vitura Health announced it would buy the business in February 2025 and completed the purchase of the Livelihood Health group, which trades as Candor Medical, on February 20, 2025. When we checked, the former CDA Clinics web address, also a Vitura brand, redirected to Candor's site.
Patients fill in an online prescreen and intake form, then speak with a registered prescriber by phone and manage follow-ups through an account with chat support. The FAQ says a treatment plan is never guaranteed, specific therapies cannot be requested, and advertising law stops the clinic from naming medicines online. Prescriptions are dispensed by licensed Australian pharmacies, and a referral or recent health summary is often needed.

Candor has no clinic to visit and lists no public phone number; contact is by web form or in-account chat. Its Trustpilot score is low: 1.6 out of 5 from 232 reviews in September 2026. Most recent reviews describe slow or missing replies, prescriptions not renewed, stock problems and delivery delays, and several link the decline to the Vitura takeover.
