Summary

On July 22, 2026 Health Canada published a recall of certain Social Sessions edible cannabis products made by 10392804 Canada Inc., doing business as Sweet Vengeance. According to the notice, several chocolates contain milk and hazelnut that are not declared on the label, which may cause serious or life-threatening reactions in allergic people.

Testing also found cannabinoid values that differ from the labels. Health Canada says the chocolates' labels overstate THC (for example, a product labelled 1 mg THC per unit tested at 0 mg), while a chili crisp labelled 1 mg THC per unit tested at 3.38 mg. The recall followed a Health Canada inspection, sampling and testing. 6,770 units were sold from March 2025 to May 2026 through authorized retailers in Ontario and Saskatchewan. No complaints or adverse reactions had been reported at publication. Health Canada advises consumers to stop using the products.

What the source found
