Summary
PREE Laboratories, LLC, an Oregon cannabis testing laboratory operating as PREE, settled an OLCC case over how it sampled marijuana. The Notice alleged that on about November 10 and December 18, 2023 lab representatives intentionally added resinous trichomes to test samples, and on many dates between October 2023 and January 2024 took too few increments per sample or sampled without the entire batch present. Adding kief or trichomes raises a sample's potency, per OLCC. The standard sanction is cancellation; the lab accepted a letter of reprimand and agreed to surrender its license by October 20, 2025.
