Summary

Several reports filed to BBB Scam Tracker in August and September 2026 describe two look-alike websites, statemmcverify[.]com and stateverifymc[.]com, being used in the second stage of fake cannabis delivery orders. According to the reports, after a buyer paid a supposed dispensary, the seller claimed the buyer's name was missing from a state verification or registration system and sent a link to one of these sites, which asked for personal details, ID and a further fee, such as $299 for cannabis registration or $399 for insurance. A New York reporter described statemmcverify[.]com as a fake government agency website. The reports link the pages to sellers using the names Zenith Cannabis and Green Weed Recreational Delivery Dispensary. These are consumer allegations published by BBB.

Status notes

BBB Scam Tracker reports are consumer submissions; BBB publishes them but does not verify every detail. Individual report IDs could not be captured because bbb.org serves a bot check to scripted browsers; the source links are Scam Tracker searches that returned these reports on 2026-09-24. Editor should open them in a normal browser, record the report IDs and screenshot them before publishing. This entry overlaps with the Zenith Cannabis and Green Cannabis Dispensary entries; editor may prefer to fold it into those.
