Summary
ELITEXTRX, LLC is a licensed Oregon marijuana processor (license 030-1007127DC50) whose rice cereal treat edibles, sold as Elitextrx 1:1 Crispy, were recalled by the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) on January 23, 2025. The OLCC said the marshmallow, strawberry, fruity and cocoa flavors did not disclose that they contained butter, and therefore milk, a major allergen. The Oregon Department of Agriculture's food safety program found the problem during a routine inspection of a marijuana retailer. According to the OLCC, the edibles may have been sold by up to 19 recreational retailers from about May 2018 to January 2025. On February 13, 2025, the OLCC expanded the recall to a peanut butter flavor. The commission said it had received no health complaints but warned that people allergic to milk could suffer serious or life-threatening reactions, and it said its investigation was ongoing.
