Summary

Cura CS, LLC, a licensed Oregon marijuana processor doing business as Cura Cannabis Solutions, reached a stipulated settlement with OLCC over packaging and labeling violations. The Notice alleged that on about 29 separate days in mid-2021 the company transferred roughly 1,590 units of a 30 mL hemp CBD tincture whose label listed hemp concentrate, MCT oil and a CBD potency, while testing found 24.9 to 36.6 mg/mL of THC and only a trace or non-detectable amount of CBD. A second product, a THC drop, was also charged. OLCC stated the violations were not knowing or intentional. The proposed $200,000 penalty was settled at $130,000 plus a 23-day suspension, or $132,750 plus a 12-day suspension.
