Summary

In June 2024 the Colorado Attorney General sued the Greeley-based company selling as CBDDY, alleging it sold cannabis products, including THCA flower, as federally legal hemp with THC levels reported as up to 35 times the legal limit, that it forged or altered certificates of analysis, and that its forms, flavors and imagery appealed to children. The company was Gee Distributors, LLC. A settlement announced at the end of June 2025 permanently bars the owner from operating cannabis or related businesses in Colorado; according to a news report, the state dropped a fine of about $820,000 because of the owner's bankruptcy filing.
