Summary

Bud Bros, LLC, a marijuana retailer in Cave Junction, Oregon, settled an OLCC case over its tracking records. The Notice alleged that on March 7, March 8 and April 12, 2022 the retailer's employees or representatives intentionally entered data into the state's METRC tracking system that did not account for inventory transparently, recording medical marijuana sales to people who showed no Oregon Health Authority identification, or whose identity did not match the card number entered. OLCC had audited the retailer's tracking data in 2019 and 2022. The proposed 32-day suspension or $8,000 penalty was settled at $5,750 or a 23-day suspension.
